As the streets at Pitti Uomo were awash with self-serious men in dapper suits (and capes), the Milan crowd turned out to be much more playful and eccentric %u2014 sometimes, downright absurd. Showgoers arrived in everything from fake beards to "furkenstocks" (associated with some sad-looking toes) others chose skinny scarves and nonsensically placed pockets. A really well-postured man over a Vespa channeled a personality from a Wes Anderson film, another man wore three ties immediately, and Anna Dello Russo took a rest from her oversize furs to go full-on Ladies from the Canyon.
